Catch the tube to Baker Street Station one of the original stations of the Metropolitan Railway, the world's first underground railway, opened in 1863. Walk a short distance down Baker Street to the Sherlock Holmes Museum ( 1 ) at 221B which opens at 9:30am.
We then head back to Marylebone Road to Madame Trussauds. ( 2 ) ( Pre book online with half hour time slots, say 10 to 10:30am to beat queues and gain priority access. )
We then continue east on Marylebone Road to the Royal Acadamy of Music ( 3 ) which opens at 11:30am, to have a peak at their museum of musical instruments.
We then continue to walk up Marylebone Road to York Gate and walk up it into The Regent's Park to have lunch and explore the gardens.
We can return home from Regent's Park Station.
